Engineering Collaboration in Action!

Virtual Engineering Conference is a Success

Nearly 80 engineers from CEMA member companies in North, Central, and South America gathered virtually this week to participate in CEMA's Fifth Annual Virtual Engineering Conference.

More than just meetings, CEMA Engineering Conferences connect engineers, committees, and product sections to develop and update the standards and best practices that guide the conveyor industry in the Americas.

The pictured session was dedicated to developing the 8th edition of the book “Belt Conveyors for Bulk Materials,” aka The Belt Book, a flagship technical publication from CEMA, and a must-have resource since its first edition in 1966.

Other sessions included work toward revising and renewing all 13 ANSI/CEMA standards, as well as the development of new standards on extendable conveyors and modular and monolithic belts.

➡️ Interested in getting involved in these significant projects? CEMA members can contact Engineering Manager Naylu Garces to get details and join a committee.

If these are your kind of projects and you are not a CEMA member, why not?   Executive Vice President Andrew Solis would be happy to share information about CEMA membership and how you and your company can participate in this important work.
